Watt do you think ?

I'm guessing a 1000w drill would easily handle a " honey creamer " but would it be suitable to spin a 4 frame, manual ,tangential extractor ?

Should do! Power to spin should not be the problem, but you just need to make sure you can slowly increase the speed to prevent ‘ frame blow-out, especially if not using wired frames.

A kW at very low speed is not the same as twirling a few frames at up to 300rpm. Not many can continuously provide a horse power, but lots can spin honey extractors. Are you driving that drill at full speed? If not, it won’t be 1000W.

As your extracor is tangential it is difficult to ‘blow’ frames?

My 9 frame radial has an 80W motor. Perfectly adequate
