hi

i wanna get into my shed, but i got a problem .... i looked up to find a wasp nest hanging there from the roof.

i just wanted to know what is the best way to deal with a hanging wasp nest (those in the ground are no problem for me) and if possible what would be the best way to kill the wasps without damaging the nest to much as i would be interested to look inside of it?

thanks - georgia

A plastic bag/binliner (depending on how big it is) Then in FULL protective gear just before it gets dark lift the bag over the nest and close the neck, supporting the nest from outside the bag. Securely tie the neck and put the whole lot in the freezer for 24 hours - Job done no chemicals:)

PS you may have to zot a few stragglers the following day.

thanks i didn't thnk of that ... now all i've got to do is get my dad (who hates wasps) to go and get it : )
