This is possibly a dumb question but what is washing soda? I assume it isn't the washing powder that we all have. Where do I get it from as the supermarket doesn't sell it as that?

Its just plain old cheap washing soda crystals that you'd use for cleaning sinks/drains/etc. Poundland sell it

NOT to be confused with caustic soda which is also used to clean drains etc
