the buy it now price of £1500 is amazing for what is there.

I wouldnt normally post this up but at that price I would bite their hand off if I were closer.

couldnt it be worth your while to make a trip up there for it Veg? Hire a transit (other vans available) for the day/2days.

seriously thinking about it but got work commitments. If I did buy it would be to sell off.

im sure if you contact him you could arange a mutual time for collection. there is 7days left on it so hes not expecting it to go in the next day or so.

make sure you have his mob number from e bay now just incase it gets removed so you can still contact him.

so how much do yer think its actually worth if it was split up and sold off?

A lot more than it sold for the hives and colonies are worth that alone

The seller would have made more selling one at a time. Lots of people would be put off with a high starting price!

do yer really think so? theres a couple of posts in the sale section advertising 2 colonies in national hives for £125 each.

I have nationals but what would yer say one of them wbc hives was worth with a colony?

look for an empty wbc on eee bayy then add a colony price onto it, plus the colonies could be split into nucs to sell

I THINK WE ARE MISSING THE POINT
this person had to sell up and quick as he was getting the bad neighbour and wife on his back i fell sorry for him if only people could be well-educated about them instead of sounding of to many beek are losing out on this great hobby and most important thing pollination:smash:

please don't use the 'no more pollination' hype.

there are many other species of insect which actually do a better job of pollination (they work in lower temperatures, for a start)

I've notice bumle bees are usually out in cooler weather right into the evening long after my bees are tucked up
