Uncapping knife versus uncapping fork.

I use an electric / heated uncapping knife and an uncapping fork for any bits missed by the knife. It works well for me.

Same, I'm into our sixth ton of honey this season uncapped with the heated knife and scraper, a few more to go!

I thought Id have a go with this. wasnt expecting much but it worked very well and didnt produced many micro wax particles to block the filters.

I had a try of one of those last year, found it quite satisfying on nice even comb.

That's the problem isn't it ? Everything works well on nice even comb ! The bees don't always oblige though .....
