The stock was all outside which gave more room and worked well. Not quite as frentic :willy_nilly: as last year though some items disappeared pretty quickly.

Luckily I wasn't after much, although my credit card would disagree.

Only disappointment, bar missing out on a hive stand, was the a lass on the (well organised) car park tempting me with bacon baps in the canteen. Unfortunately, it turned out that they were stopped being made when the sale started so my plan for a post scrum cuppa with bacon bap was scuppered.

Enjoyable morning out though, its a great place

Admin asked for some photos -

I was going to have a drive down but the other half wrote the car off on Wednesday

I was there, did wonder what it would be like if it was lashing down at 10.00.. Got all I wanted for me and a couple of mates, even managed to bag some 3rds supers at £3.00 each ;) The wife played a blinder and looked after our stack, although some one had our trolley away.
Any way garage full of new fresh wood, smells great and I have some thing to keep me busy over the winter
cheers

Oh by the way you managed to get me and the wife in one of your photo's bee-smillie

Bit of an extreme solution to you spending £££s :(. Hope other half ok btw.

Just hope they have what I want in the on line sale. The other half is ok thanks for asking. Very lucky to walk away from a crash she shouldn't have after rolling the car 5 or 6 times on the moors. Counting our blessings and thinking their is more to life than big ts sale.

Hmm - lot of spurious dates being bandied about - the email from Thornes says 21st!
