The Sun has just burst through on Dartmoor... view from out office window has just been opened up as the tree surgeons have decimated and totally mullered the hedge across the road!
Rain here.

First Bumble bees... ones with white bottoms seen yesterday afternoon on the Hellibore and Daphne... when the Sun came out

Big yellow swathe of sunshine across the UK coming...so the forecast says....even for South Wales.

Bees flying strongly but they're getting a bit tetchy as the flow has recently stopped. Commercials off feeding colonies now. 32 degreees C today with almost unbroken sunshine.

Chillan, Chile :)

So it's true the east coast of Scotland does get the better weather.

I was at Vet School in Glasgow and it always rained.
Whenever we ventured to Edinburgh it was always sunny....but cold

12,000 km from Fife ... but, yes, the East coast of Scotland does get much better weather ;)

Garscube has it's own microclimate ... miserable and wet.

Cold damp start gave way to sunshine at c 10.30am. Went out for a quick lunch, came back to all bees flying strongly (well all except the weak nuc/hive).
All crocus out and full of bees.

Fog up over, rain in the valley.

A pleasant warm and sunny 12+oC uup North. Bees all flying and bringing in pollen. Had a quick perusal through the garden hives, all fine with brood; bar one. Out apiary inspections tomorrow as more of the same warm spring weather expected.

'Orrible.....windy, cold, overcast, keeps drizzling. I'm staying in the house!....much like my bees I guess...lol
