Here in Oldham we have had several snow showers today, some rain, a brief bit of sunshine and now it's gone all grey again.

I worked in the garage as it snowed and rained. Calor gas heater on flat out...

Making more nucs from Celotex in anticipation of a glorious hot summer..

No ice need in G&T

Bees snowed in here. Four miles down the road it is all green.

Microclimates eh?

I remember visiting lots of family relatives (big family) down Marahamchurch , Bude , and Stratton areas coming out of the door and could not see the gate and that was seven miles from the sea

It's been clear and cloudy, wet and dry all day. I took the dog for a walk in the woods and the path that is usually an easy walk was a quagmire. I came out of the woods and got caught in a rain shower the leading edge of which was ice and hail with a strong breeze. I got very cold and the dog got very muddy!

In between the showers, the bees were flying! Maximum temperature 10.3°C.

Blowing hard here today...but dry ATM. I think it will be another duvet day for the bees.

Cats and dogs and 4C at the moment but sun promised..for pm.

I must get out more..

That's not far from us and we get a lot of weather like that, sea mist when everyone else has sun. I thought we got the most rain in Devon..............that was before the kid's started going to school in Bradworthy, it rains there a lot.

It has been sunny here today and all the bees are flying, although we still managed to catch a shower.

Do you know Stratton railway cottages, about 8 in row all except one my relatives, and the old cafe on Bude front best pasties in Cornwall made by a old woman, she's properly dead now, we even had fog on the moors where we seen the lady gost cross the road not sure where that was
Give the hives a kick, nearly 11 degrees in Southerndown today ;)
Got home to sunny 8 degrees and all hives very busy bringing in pollen.

I don't know Stratton Railway cottages, are they off the main road going up the hill? I am afraid when I spend anytime in Stratton, it is usually at Stratton hospital in their minor injuries unit with one of the kids. You do get good pasties down here, you have to limit them or you have trouble fitting in your bee suit!

Windy here today, but at least dry at the moment.
