Taking Supers Off

What is the latest that I can take off a super? The bees are still as busy as ever bringing in pollen and nectar. They are just starting to cap off the honey in the super, there are 8 full frames but not fully capped yet.Advice and opinions please.

Late September is well within the window for removing supers
It really depends on your varroa treatment ; if you intend using apiguard, too late means too cold to be effective.

If it is ripe you can take it. You might be able to leave it until October, who knows? As John says, depends on what treatment. depends on weather, forage, bee type, etc.
