.....I should have said, "permanently assembled." It may well be moved somewhere for doing more useful things than beekeeping before them. "....oh no, what have I said?", he said, ducking the brickbats. ;)
 
This is a link with the interview with Seeley about how he now plays it safe with the bait hives. Apparently he fell off a ladder.....

It's difficult to avoid playing "Simon says" in beekeeping. One day you read one thing, the next day something else....sometimes from the same person. I think it's got to be whatever height you're comfortable with......you don't want to be killing bees when you fall onto your head from five metres. ;)
