Swarms of honey bees removed and rehived in and around the tonbridge area for a fast and friendly service please phone Vince on 07738815522

( what's ) noting fast about it just a saying been around for years

Can't quite see the point of advertising a swarm removal service on a beekeeping site - or am I missing something...
:D

It was last year there was even a swarm map started up by one of the members and I can't see why not as I supply a free service don't know why people reply with a negative replys if it is not allowed then it is up to the addmin to remove it of move it else were

Do you not think if you google any thing to do with bees or beekeeping is swarms that this site will not turn up it is as good as place as any if you have a problem get in touch with the admin and I thought beekeepers were all one Looks like not on this website there not

I think that the others are just trying to draw your attention to the third heading in the site rules. Which of course you have dutifully read before starting to post.

Merely made an observation. Didn't think I was being rude or offensive to you

Given the results of the recent poll about allowing links on the forum - which nearly turned into WWIII over a misunderstanding that 'links = commercialisation' - it's almost certain that this thread will be removed. You may be encouraged to ask for an entry in the Beekeeping Directory.

Do you keep all the bees, or do you give them all away?

Really, what is the point of putting it on here? Only a local service (or whatever) and will be lost in a couple of days - as long as nobody keeps 'bumping' it. That would really smack of commercialism. We don't really want, or need, five hundred threads like this. Just a waste of time.

Not wishing to be negative, but advertising a swarm collection service on a beekeepers site?!:smilielol5:

That's like offering a gardening service to Monty Don!

I give them away as I always have done it is amazing that when one person posts a negative comments on here how a lot more join in a bit like school yard bullying in my eyes

I can see why you would want to advertise on a site that has such a good search engine ranking.

However, this is an aggressively non-commercial site. Anything that hints of commercialisation, or might even just open the doors to it, is almost obsessively frowned upon.

Most non-beeks would probably go to their local authority to find someone who will remove swarms or colonies. Get your name onto their swarm collection list. Your local BKA may also add you to their list.

Also try cards in shop windows, local free papers, church magazines etc.

As previously mentioned, ask for a listing in the Beekeeping Directory. That, at least, keeps it separate from the forum.

Good luck!

Almost? :biggrinjester:

/ And I fail to see how a straightforward question, asked politely, could be called "bullying".
