Don't shake bees so far. We usually shake in grass for a 20-30 meters away. Had no problem of losing queens in other colonies and lot of bees redistributed to other colonies.
Swarming, usually I just split. First If I see there are preps - wait untill are capped first cells. Take old queen and 2 frames of mixed brood, shake bees from 2 honey frames, take 2 frames of food, stuff some built frames sprayed with honey or not, foundations and take colony at least 2 weeks away 3km. In main colony I leave 2 sealed qc.
No one when done this swarmed for now. Also when queen is removed and in remaining colony present qcells bees increase productivity. Later on I even read some text, up to 100%. But it is unfavourable for near later forages - colony strength decrease some.
