a friend tried some last year He added it to a new hive and all they did was make queen cells in hive

The hive was a 4 frame nuc plus foundation, i have the rest of his packet in the freezer, might see what it does but not this year as no OSR near me, it is a plastic paddle with a fixing base and it hangs between the frames and is expensive,so would not buy it but got his cast off free
