at The Hive, RAF Cranwell. Registration from 11:00 Judging from 12:30.

Classes:

Class 1 2 Jars of liquid light honey
Class 2 2 Jars of liquid medium honey
Class 3 2 Jars of liquid dark honey
Class 4 2 Jars of Set honey (Soft set or Naturally granulated)
Class 5 5 x 1oz blocks of Beeswax (+/- 10% in weight)
Class 6 Frame of Honey Suitable for extraction
Class 7 1 Jar of Honey lemon curd (see recipe)
Class 8 5 Honey Biscuits (see recipe)
Class 9 Honey Cake (winner to donate recipe for following year)
Class10 Honey Chutney (see recipe)
Class11 Novice class (anyone not having won a prize at a SBKA show)

Were you based at Cranwell Norton? We've a couple of members of the association doing their time there.

i've a young nephew that has recently moved to Sleaford but he simply has no interest in bees or honey shows. strange lad!
 
Yes I was at Cranwell, believe it or not. Not I can say one of the pleasanter RAF stations to be at. I used to live in Frampton, south of Boston.

Moors Arms, yes, as I used to live at Frampton Hall, it was in our front yard. Graves Park as well!
