Does it really work to keep the bees off your hands?

Seems the 'original' flavour has citronella in it. Is that the one people recommend?

I know many in Africa swear by it as the best way of avoiding mosquitos. But does a 'repellant' maybe not just p1ss the bees off stick your repellant hands in the hive?

Anyone got first 'hand' experience?

I used it as a mozzi repellent when I was in the Royal Marines, worked a treat. No idea if it works on bees though.

I use the original formula on my hands. Bees land on bare hands .. and then fly off.. normally.
Aggressive bes ? They don't land, just bounce and sting..
SO yes it works - up to a point.

I don't mind bees walking all over my hands..

I do have nice soft skin where there are no calluses not worthy
