1. A skein of some forty geese flying south (seen this morning).
 
Hearing bee keepers proudly quoting how much honey they've taken, and why this year wasn't as good as last year.. :rolleyes:

400, nice I got 600 but last year I had 800.

As for me not taken a drop of the summer crop yet. :blush5:
 
Himalayan Balsam wasps and fewer bikini clad joggers...
 
Bees reducing in numbers and filling brood space with stores, so must be start of autumn - hang on; so why have I just done a call out and brought a swarm home today (def not a starvation swarm round here at the mo)?
