Just had a nasty thought regarding Scottish Independence.

If there is a yes vote next week Scotland will drop out of the EU when they achieve independence. They will therefore be able to import their bees from anywhere in the world.

Does that mean us in the north of England can expect a flood of foul brood from over the border?

Why not?

Emperor Hadrian where are you now??

We have a few of the old porridge fanciers at work, what happens to them?
Will they be forcibly repatriated or offered asylum?
They are however, somewhat disgruntled that whilst they, (Kilt wearing "proper" Scotsmen) will not be getting to vote, the asylum seekers from outside UK, "just arrived in Scotland" will be voting.
:scotland-flag:That's Scottish-Nationalist democracy apparently! :scotland-flag:

Personally, the sooner they separate, the sooner we can stop their MP's voting in Westminster on English issues!

I wonder if Alex Salmond will do a Putin and shut off the gas?
