Rather odd this attempted separation! More like a family squabble !
My surname originated in Germany, then via France into Scotland ( at the time of the Jacobean revolution ,when Scotland allied with France )
There is an area close by here named Little Scotland and another named Aberdeen ! Probably due to a high number of Scottish mercenaries paid up by Cromwell after the English civil war!
Rather like peeing in a bucket of water and then separating it!, not easy.

You mean the Welsh will take a reduction in their generous subsidy?
