A decent weather pattern for next year to give us beginners a chance of experiencing beekeeping 'in a normal year'

Ever since I started, at least some of the the old beeks have said that this year is the worst year they could remember.

Not all christmas presents have to be expensive. Where do I source gallon bottle, rubber stopper and air lock? You can tell I get my own? I do have the small problem of lacking in honey this year, but it's always next year. The talk we had suggested quality of honey not important? What does yours taste like - mead that is?

you can get the 5ltr bottle of spring water from tesc@'s which you can use for brewing the mead all you need to do is drill a hole in the cap and insert a rubber stopper so that your air lock can fit into it, use the spring water to make the mead, you can buy special bottle for this but they can cost around £7.00 unless you get them from a car boot sale. Google home brew suppliers in your area or Wilkinson do some bits and bobs
