Hi All,

I have inherited a fairly old motorised extractor which I was told might need some electrical repair. On further investigation it looks like (and smells like) the motor is burned out and needs replaced.

It's a 12 frame radial extractor. Looks like it had a variable speed controller, but only goes one way.

If anyone else has one of these, I'd appreciate it if you have any information on the power and speed of the motor so I could try and get a replacement.

Thanks

Colin

Look up "motor rewinds" either in the Yellow Pages or on Yell.co.uk

A rewind will be way cheaper than buying new (and probably less than 20% of the price from the link above)

Or try google.

As said before, a rewind is normally far cheaper.

Tim
