queen not seen but EGGS are!

Clearly seen? Either new queen is laying or laying workers (still early in the season for that). Next hurdle is to see whether new brood is worker or drone. Good ennit? I have my doubts as to it being worker but we will see in due course. I might suggest you cross youf fingers, but that would not help one iota.

A word of advice - don't assume. Look at the alternatives and investigate which is fact.

Eggs dead centre of cells. Good learning curve.

You did Craig

Hi Itchy,
Such fun, think that you might have the opportunity to do it all again possibly eleven times! Hope you get yourself some worker brood there.

Checked today, capped worker brood. Colony seemed tardy though. Will watch.
