Amaz*n are selling sets of six marking pens @ £9.18 with free carriage. These are the same pens as those sold by beekeeping suppliers for about £4 each. You get the five queen colours plus black.
Go to Amaz*n and search for uni posca medium
I bought a set from Amaz*n last year.

They seem to last for years so a set is a good buy.

Was about to purchase this years colour, so perfect timing, thanks, R

Price now £13.55

EDIT: =- not sure whats going on with the price there, but try this link

You are right - price up in the last hour! Do you think someone saw a 'rush' on / a new revenue stream developing and decided to cash in? This afternoon they were cheap, now they are just very good value! Still better than £4 a pen if you are a long term beek.

How long will the pen last an average, shall we say 3 colony keeper?

Just ordered mine now £9.18 don't always take the first option they offer you

they last for years as long as you store them 'tip down'....I have a yellow one from the early 1990s still going strong (ok, a bit of shaking needed !!)

oh, and what is this years colour, my memory escapes me !
