Had a really useful time with the SBI. One colony does have EFB and a bit of sacbrood. Fortunately I am strict with hygiene and it has paid off. All other colonies & the other apiary are clear. Equally positive, I spotted a beautiful new queen in one of my splits, and she has just started laying.

Sorry to hear the confirmation but good it's only one. I'm a great fan of SBI's I think they do a great job.

Me too. Mine is great. Not only is she busy but she’s a member of my local BKA where the apiary manager has resigned and she’s taken over its running after the AFB debacle last year
