Have something very similar but with the option of fitting a brush cutter for slightly heavier duty than just grass. Works really well and much better/versatile than an electric one.

All our gear in work is stihl. Parts are easy to get as well.

Older model I think, but if it's not had much use and gas been reasonably well stored then should be a good machine. One thing to watch is, if it is an older model parts may not be available- might be worth ringing a dealer to ask, as most Stihl parts are model specific.

.

Ours is an FS100 and it's the biz.
(Except for the colour, of course. I would prefer pink).

Stihl are generally good quality kit. I have two - one's about 15 years old, and still performs faultlessly.

Stihl is good gear, you won't really go wrong with that. There is a few newer models on ebay too.

Stihl is good but a strimmer will struggle to cut thistles, nettles, etc.
a brush cutter is better for this. (Often come with a strimmer attachment).
