Bugger..............

Got my order in, just had an email, it's being delivered tomorrow...................... SWMBO's day off!! :banghead:

wonder if there's anything interesting enough on TV to keep her so occupied she won't notice the pallet being dropped in the drive and me sneaking 1,000 jars up to the attic.
Either that, or she's going out after work with her colleages and one of the girls has offered her a sleepover so she can have a drink rather than drive home from Hades (sorry, I mean Merthyr Tydfil) all I need do now is try and contact her friend Gay Alun and get him to drag her off to Cardiff tomorrow for a day's shopping :D

What you need is a tarp......cover the pallet....put a bag of multi compost on top with a few geraniums and a fork.....you are improving the garden...Ta daa. Then you can move the jars at your leisure.

Just tell her she can wash them. Dishwasher/ sink, doesn't matter. The ladies love a bit of that. :spy:

Rather than offer Marriage Guidance suggestions (bees are safer), could I just ask how much better the price was for the 1000? (That quantity being beyond the online price list... !)

But for such a "wholesale" order, couldn't you nominate when you would and would not accept delivery?

Thanks Ely, just ordered mine.

Why wash them? they're new, clean and tightly boxed - and please noone come back with all this tosh about rats p!ssing on them!

Twice that of 500 :D (they'd probably negotiate down on normal pricing - had that before now but not on sale prices) would have asked to move dates but it was done and despatched in so quick a time didn't have the chance to ask, I thought they'd have arrived Monday;I actually moved a meeting to suit. ah well, she can move them for me now - sure my back will be playing up that day :D

We are going to see if our bees can make increase this year. We have made a nuc from one colony and that has a new Buckfast queen.
So if we are lucky enough to get a little honey...all those family members, who enjoyed the honey last year...can jolly well bring the jars back!

Just a heads up to the jar offer on Pattersons

thanks for this, I have some jars left over from last year, and not jarred all last years stash of honey yet, so these will come in handy this year, next or whenever, they don't go off, and will sneak up into the attic!

Well, I just had 500 arrive, so here's hoping for a good season now! Thanks Ely for the tip.

I had cause to speak to the company a couple of times about my order (pesky customer that I am) and I have to say, they couldn't have been more helpful. Great customer service!

:iagree: - having had cause to use them on more than one occasion. Just a heads up for thse intending to use the jars for showing (in classes that allow non 'ministry' jars) I think recycled glass is used in their production which means the jars have that slight bluegreenish tinge. Not that it's always a disadvantage. Won a commercial class last year and the judge came over afterwards commenting on the nice greenish tint of the honey and did I know what the bees had been foraging on !!

Great customer service!

Totally agree .. always get nice, personalised, emails from Katie telling me the state of my order ... latest delivery arrived the day after ordering the jars ! Asked her if they were using the Startrek delivery service ? ... 'Beam them down Scottie'.

Nice product, great price, friendly, helpful, personal service, instant delivery and beautifully packed - not often you get the chance to have it all in a supplier.

They are very helpful. I even had a phone call to acknowledge my order had been processed and when to expected delivery.
