We are going to see if our bees can make increase this year. We have made a nuc from one colony and that has a new Buckfast queen.
So if we are lucky enough to get a little honey...all those family members, who enjoyed the honey last year...can jolly well bring the jars back!

If they want free honey make them pay for the jar.....then they will bring it back next time.

They are usually very good with me too but this time just an acknowledgement email five days ago and still no jars or arrival date! Will give them till Monday before I ring!

Odd that only a short time ago somebody asked about this company and I believe one person said they had never heard of them, and another commented that most people on the forum used another company...

Regarding negotiation, when I phoned up to add some spare lids to my order, I was able to get them for rather less than the website price, as the jar-carriage cost wasn't going to be increased by having a few extra lids.
Having spare lids is so much less bother than having the odd few jars and not being able to find lids that fit. And anyone contemplating 'recycling' jars definitely ought to be using new lids ...

I've no complaints about their customer service, or jars.

Worth also noting that the current offer is only about 25% off.
Sometimes they do 50% off offers. Which is when I stock up beyond what I think I'm 'needing'.

I ended up buying quite a few lids with my first order of hex jars a few years ago because I didn't read my order properly and didn't realise they can with lids. They came in handy

I have used them several times, even when they dont have an offer on if you are buying a lot 500+ ring them for a price.

Seconds after I typed this I got an email from them, jars on their way!

Mine arrived 1700 - I'd almost given up, driver muttering about too many calls on the lorry and he'd be b*ggered if he was delivering the last three tonight :D pallet trolleyed up the drive in the rain :banghead: and boxes quickly shifted indoors, now sat in the dining room until creaky back settles down again!
