I know it's been said that the new Cuprinol hasn't been tested but Is Cuprinol Total Garden Wood Treatment in a green can ok to use? I'm at a bit of a loss on what to use?

Don't know about Cuprinol.

I use Ronseal satin golden cedar. Supplied buy a beekeeping supplier. Looks good if you don't need to 'hide' the hives.

I use cuprinol ducks back for my hives. (outsides only of course)

try the massive sticky thread on hive painting for ideas

It dont 'alf confuse the bees if you change the colour of the hive in the evening when they're inside. They fly out in the morning and cant find the entrance when they come back.
