a great thing and a rare find...hard to find any genuine paintings relating to beekeeping or honey....see picture just added on photo albums section....kiberick
 
hello redwood....cost an arm and a leg and is for sale but would want both your arms and legs !

Erica I don't think you were saying you wanted Dusty's rear. Funny how things translate in a male's mind.
 
Woooppss, meant to say, about the painting that is, I thought skeps were kept out of the rain, but then again the painting could have been done for advertising purposes.

They say " Men of the Cloth" are strangely appealing.
Can't see it myself ;)

I was applauding your prime position on google though :)
 
I wander if the scene was real or only the imagination of the artist.
I think skeps were kept under a shelter, the rain would have ruined them.
