I’ve ordered a kg of this will it be ok ?
Aye that’s the stuff I’ve run out and have this being delivered todayI presume you mean "dihydrate". It will be fine - to clean your woodwork of course!
I got this: Oxalic Acid dihydrate 99.6%
Ok along with my organic sugar ha!Make sure it's organic
I’ll send my sublimox for maintenance and cleaning to whom I buy it from thenNo. You can use only Apibioxal
Make sure it's organic
Yes, I use it to clean my hives and bonus, I have noticed that mites have also been dying. Must be the brood nest heating up too much and creating some kind of sublimation with the deposit left.....Aye that’s the stuff I’ve run out and have this being delivered today
But it’s quite legal for the Highways Agency to allow water (and all manner of carp) to run off the road into peoples driveways……The oa police will be putting you in prison now..
I'm off to wash my van now and let the water run onto the road.Thats illegal too so I'd better not
Did you dilute it a little? Did you need a mask?I got acetic acid to treat frames against waxmoth from the same company, oddly it was cheaper to buy the purest "glacial" acetic acid rather than the normal 75-80%
Neat i.e. glacial acetic (ethanoic for the purists) acid does have the habit of solidifying into a glassy-looking solid when it gets cold so I make up an 80% solution during the warmer months for use during Winter. I must confess that I quite like the smell but it can be nasty stuff if handled carelessly. It will corrode metals, concrete and assorted bits of the human body if spilt on them.I didn't dilute it. I didn't use a mask as anything you breathe will be vapour and go through most masks. It was outdoors though. Eye protection could be advisable if you think splashing is a risk.
I had a stack of supers wrapped up in plastic. I put some AA in a plastic takeaway container on top in an empty super and sealed it all up.
Not that unpleasant to handle compared with some things!
