Hmm, this is worrying me now, I have a nasty hive, who I took the queen out of last week, when I was learning beekeepering, tne local bee inspector showed us how to unite with the paper method. And if hive nasty remove queen check week later remove all q cells, then unite with a good queen. But I’m now reading it should be done same day queen removed.

only chance now is to make sure they're hopelessly queenless. not my favourite way of doing it, but you have little choice
