I put two hives up my allotment in March. So far they have been extremly territorial. After numerous attempts to improve their temperment ie Requeen, reunited colonies they still seem to be aggressive. The hive is next to a cornfield and has recently been sprayed. I am now wondering if this is the cause of the aggression as requeening from good stock is failing. I now have no option but to move them now out of the area. Finding another site will be a problem as it will need to be away from joe public untill they calm down. I have 2 people tell me that they have been stung and they are 200 yards away and for no reason.
