There is nothing disingenous about my comment. I find the use of that word rather annoying and wonder if the author understands the correct meaning of the word rather than the liberal banding around it receives today.
Perhaps another word should be used. For reference the definition of disingenous is....
adj.
1.Not straightforward or candid; insincere or calculating: "an ambitious, disingenuous, philistine, and hypocritical operator, who ... exemplified ... the most disagreeable traits of his time" (David Cannadine).
2.Pretending to be unaware or unsophisticated; faux-naïf.
3.Usage Problem. Unaware or uninformed; naive.
It is bee inspector advice, mentor advice and in the books!
