Have just cleaned out hive which didnt make it( Virgin Queen ) never returned. Have noticed some blue mould on parts of the drawn comb. What is the best thing to do, leave it for bees to sort out in the spring ????? cut the offending pieces out ??????

Probably just some mouldy pollen. You can scrape it out or if it's only a small are let the bees clean it out. But are you happy reusing the comb

Melt it down, make candles or trade it in for fresh foundation and let someone else have any potential problems left in it ... and go foundationless !

Its new white comb 2013 vintage I think cutting out the offending bits will do it
