Hi,

We're just extracting a super which has quite a lot of wax moth larvae (I think) across the frames. They're quite big larvae (big enough to send my wife running from the kitchen) and there's dust & white 'web' around the area they're at.

Is it OK to just cut out the affected areas and extract the remaining honey?

& any thoughts on what I should do with these frames after extraction (if extraction is OK) to clear them out before putting the wet frames back in the hive?

Thanks very much for any advice..

Put the frames in the freezer overnight and it will kill the wax moth larvae.

thanks - I suppose I should extract the honey first?
