At this time of year a lot of the mites will be phoretic and after four vapings the mite drop seems excessive. Are you using industry standard OA in the correct quantities? I'm no vaping expert but from what I glean from others your picture is alarming considering the treatments.

I vape every five days if there is brood in the hive. I regard this study as being the best I have come across. They found that mites are mature to reenter cells at 41/2 to 11 days old, so by treating at 7 day intervals you you miss a lot.

I did vape on 7 day intervals, all I can do now is vape a couple more times and hope for the best

Although it is later in the season now for vaping i also do or did 7 day intervals through work commitments...some hives where fine with 4 x vapes but two still kept dropping the little suckers so i carried on with a further two vapes and even into 6/7 vapes with them still dropping mites... i ended up buying some Apitraz strips but the 6/7th gassing fettled them.

Obviously too late now, but it would of been better to use a different treatment back in August/September if your work prevented you from treating at five or even four day intervals in some cases.
There has also been plenty of time for re-infestation since then, more so if you happen to have mite bombs in your area.

Continue vaping when you have the time, the only good mite is a dead one. Be mindful that all the advice given here is not gospel.
