Missed swarm calls.

How many have you missed due to too many beekeepers in your area Ive missed 10 in total.

Missed swarm due to the large number of beekeepers in the area.

After message has been left on answer phone, once phoned back they have had some one else collect, any one else had this happen to them???

No, mine call back - but I often pass on calls to others. Either too far to travel (Devon is a big county) or too high (scared of heights!!

I'm last on the list (by choice/ last resort) and I've been called to and collected four plus given another three colonies by a keeper, who's lost his nerve, whilst picking up one of his swarms. Now all on quarantine apiary sites waiting inspections.

Ive only had one swarm and 10 calls where Ive been double booked or got there to late bit of a bad year figers crossed it picks up for me.
