The Honey bandage.

Best dressing is fabric elastoplast, with a drop of as pure a honey s you can get, preferably your own on it.

It works as honey is hydroscopic and the water drawing ability takes the water from the bacteria and kills it.

Hi Pete don't forget that the Hydrogen peroxide sterilises and the other active ingredients promote healing.

It was used in WWI as field dressings I belive, and looks like it's making a come back.

it is better to put about 15 grms of propolis into a bottle of very strong medical spirt
(over 60%) and about 200ml this will produce in around two weeks a very good anti septic we used to use it alot in africa and the middle east
