Making eke from tantalised wood

Think I know the answer to this but thought I'd ask anyway.

Got a load of 2x1 left over and need to make some ekes up to feed fondant. Is it ok to use wood that has been tanalised?

Sounds better when you called it tantalised!!!
No, wouldn't use it for anything other than hive stands

Good for Hive stands - contains copper which will probably deter slugs and snails but its also got biocides in it to deter insect infestation so you don't want it next to your bees.

I have used it for ekes without any apparent harmful effects...
