Perhaps restrict the "Adult Section" to subscribing members OR to those who request permission to view it? - and yes I have yet to subscribe.......
Other forums I subscribe to, hide the adult section/subscriber's section and thus it is only visible to people with specific permissions set by the forum administrators.

People joke about Christianity/pope/religion generally. It is accepted a ok..That seems to be acceptable. The Hindus probably laugh at this one- we are too sensitive sometimes. I prefer that to crude jokes !

I remember having loads of complaints (20+) on another forum when I typed something like "it was FOC so a great bargain".

All complaints assumed FOC was a rude word...

The moderators had to explain FOC meant "free of charge".

In a similar vein, I assume the complaints here about adult jokes are by people who don't understand the meaning of the "adult section"...
