Lake District

Hi all

any recommendations in the lake district for good guest houses or hotels with pools?

Well I live south side so never need to stay locally.

For Keswick and north / west you can try either :-

Castle Inn at Bassenthwaite which has a nice pool (but last time we stayed there - few years ago - had new owners and food was poor. Might be OK now)

Also at Bassenthwaite - Armathwaite Hall which is pricey but very nice.

Visit locally Mirehouse, nice gardens, adventure playground to wear out your kiddies and I think they keep bees.

Finish off with a stroll up Skiddaw.
