Keeping Varroa Tray in overwinter?

I'm not sure if I should keep varroa trays in overwinter. Taking them out would make it too cold or leaving them in too much condensation? No ventilation at top as I'm using some 50mm Kingspan insulation on top. Suggestions please.

Mine are a good 5cm below the hives that are still on omf and I leave mine in. I see the bees every day and can wipe them clean.

No point. You’re not in a position to check them every day.
My numbers are getting fewer as most of my colonies move to solid floors.

Like others here, I have correx trays on plywood draught-excluding 'drawers' under my mesh floors (with UFEs). They are in place all year round, and checking and cleaning them is something I do every time I'm at the hives. Not just for mites, but whatever I can read from the debris (sometimes not much!).
