You dont need a press! What you want is a centrifuge?

To crush the apples a add them whole to an electric garden shredder. No effort required, and makes pulp and starts to juice in seconds.

To press (seperate juice from plup) I use and electric clothes spin dryer. Just fill the drum with pulp and hang onto it for dear life as it trys to take of.

A couple of minutes later and all the juice is extracted and you are left with a VERY dry pulp, that you could uses for cooking? I give it to the hens.

Simples!

None at all. The chute directs the juice/pulp pretty much out and into the container below.
