what do you use as the heater with it redwood?

Wrt the controller - yes, cheaper but there may be shipping charges and I note the contacts are only 5A. Further it may only control one item - either a heater or a cooler - whereas the Ellitec almost certainly has two sets of contacts, so could be used for more options if decommissioned (or simply unplugged) from the warming box. I use them for brew fridge temperature control, per eg. Mine have 10A contacts.

They all look the same but there are several variants, so buyer beware if they may be needed elsewhere at any time.
