"Your hope heals legs..."

Great motto for a devoutly religious Orthopaedic Surgeon!!!!! (Christian or Muslim)

And there was us pathologists and microbiologists thinking it was Ceftriaxone that healed legs.

.
The truth is the the dogs of village ( not docs) in this forum pissed to my leg 3 weeks.
There comes the idea "I hope it helps".

Leg is quite good. Still swollen. Thanks to all friends oversees. Only 2000 km distance prevent us to hug each other.

I will never forget you---

Oh. I thought that it was Allied forces.
Even Italy won because it turned its coat.

If you look casualties of WW2, it tells something about the war

China 20 milj civilians.

After war US people has shooted each others more that all dead in official wars.

Where did you find my picture Finman ? .... They missed off the horns and the forked tail but otherwise it's a good likeness !! (Oh ... and the 666 is hidden under the hat ....)

The British have a natural tendency to tautology *). Like

- you are still here
- how to make 1:1 syrup
- i do not treat varroa
- how not to insulate hive
- how not to extract

about the same level as

Impossible not to have mites.
Your bees will die.
Stupid one hive owners.
I went to university and am clever.
Reseach paper shows mites double every month.
UK beekeepers do not do what I say is only way.
Stupid not to sell honey to buy petrol.

You are quick to learn. It took only 2 weeks.

Dismop, how much is your average yield this year. I have 100 kg/hive.
What would you do if you get so much honey?

Only measure of beekeeping skills is yield is honey per hive.

You have not seen mites in your hives. It does not promise good.

Read the first page..............
read the last page.........
Nobody has left.........

Decided to skip the 20 in the middle.
Admit to doing quite a lot of thread skim reading these days.

How about a new thread summarising the I quit thread in as few as words as possible.

Would be so much simpler if people just did what they said they would do.

And as for the bees, come on, play fair, read the books !

And still it goes on....................... I bet new members are learning a lot more about the forum than they are bees by reading this thread.

Not really.

I have a life and spend as much time away from home in my motorhome enjoying myself as I can.
I am only on here today because its raining, and I thought I'd catch up, but you havent really said anything new.
Whats your excuse for being here all the time?

My average yield?

No idea. I took a few frames off for myself and to give away to friends and family.....I will leave the rest for the bees. Far too much trouble messing around with extractors and bottles just to put a few £ in my pocket... I can make more £'s sitting at my desk for a few hours each day making things and going to the post office every day or two.

I have 100 kg/hive.

Good for you.. thats why you keep bees... to make money. Doesnt make you better than anybody else.

Only measure of beekeeping skills is yield is honey per hive.
Nobody has said it isnt.

You have not seen mites in your hives. It does not promise good.
You havent seen them in yours either....

. Doesnt make you better than anybody else.

Is it an odd formula:

No mites = No honey yield

Treating mites = good yields

100 kg/hive means nothing.

I have been good 45 years

You are good in "not seeing mites". You need reading glasses.

Dismop. You are lazy as a beekeeper, those "do nothing guys". Beekeepings demands a little bit interest to learn things. But is is nice to have 2 hives on back yard and seems like a beekeeper.

Not sure I really agree with that.

You can be a skilled beekeeper and have low honey yields per hive.
You could for instance concentrate on queen rearing or nuc production.

I have been 'helping' an old beekeeper near me this year who has been keeping bees for over 60 years. I would class him as a highly skilled beekeeper, over the years he has kept numerous hives, produced tons of honey, raised queens and nuc's, helped teach and educate new beekeepers, won prizes in honey shows, made a lot of his own equipment, contributed to the local farming economy with pollenation services and most of all enjoyed his beekeeping.
His yield this year was low as he cant lift full supers anymore but you can tell in his voice and his smile how much he still enjoys it.
Honey crop is not important to him, healthy happy bees are.

but you havent really said anything new.
Whats your excuse for being here all the time?

Excuses, that does not belong to my virtue collection.

.All the time.... I wait that you for example start to use your brains.
It is hard job to follow.

[healthy happy bees are.

heheh heheh heheh, oh dear....

If a man wants good honey yield, he will learn how to do it. It is not easy. You must work quite much for it.

If you have a healthy wife in steady work, you need not much stuggle for your living.

Tell that old fart that he could seek for better pastures.

Happy bees...Healthy? I have not asked from my bees.

Yes, sick and unhappy bees forage best yields.

Why write it then?

I have been good 45 years
So?

You are good in "not seeing mites". You need reading glasses.
Afraid you might be on a loosing argument here because I have never said that I have never said I have not seen mites.
I did say a short time ago that I can see no mites in my observation hive and thought that it might be due to the fact that they were queenless for a period of time..........Totally different.
You are the one who said you dont count mite drop because you treat regardless of whether you know there are mites there or not. I assumed that if you dont know if they are there or not, then you also do not bother to look for them....... or is there another way of seing without looking?
