As they are your worst" or oldest queens convention around here into give them away.

I tried to do this and got moved to Queens for Sale, even though I wanted to give her away...Good Luck!!

Not bad or old queens at all, one is from a AS I made up earlier in the year from this years queen cell, and the other is from a swarm i got from a wild colony I happen to know local, these two are the smallest nucs I have at present, I am want to join up 3 nucs to make a nice sized colony, as the heather is out around here and to make sure I've got strong enough hives to take into winter, not to keen on the idea of taking nucs into the winter

I've come unstuck with one of my hives this week and would dearly love a mated queen. They have killed a beautiful queen joined from a nuc in the traditional way. Pity I'm too far away to enter into a bit of trading!

I also have a Queen free to good home she is this years mated not marked or clipped, due to a combine.

Don't kill them if they are healthy - advertise in the local newspaper or at your local associations.

What do natural beekeepers do with their spare queens? I squish the aggressive, injured or swarmy ones, but they call us beekillers, implying they don't do this. Do they not squish when they combine or do they not combine and just let the smaller colonies die out over Winter anyway? i.e. rather than kill one, allow a few thousand to die more slowly???

Injured or swarmy, they will sort them out, aggressive, move to an out apiary.
