Have you tried combining two hives to get enough bees?
Of course not. Destroying hives when they have just started to grow up.

The hives are not destroyed. The bees, brood and queen do not die (place one queen in nuc). Two become one. One big one will get you much honey.Of course not. Destroying hives when they have just started to grow up.
Our main yield is in July. When main yield starts and swarming period is over, I join smaller hives to 6 langstroth box colonies. The hives are not destroyed. The bees, brood and queen do not die (place one queen in nuc). Two become one. One big one will get you much honey.
