Sometimes just wading through the dross on Google is enough to make you prefer sticking pins in your eyes. What’s wrong with actually asking people who are the experts?
 
Temperature will make it vary to some extent. Don't waste your time.
Most refractometers sold on line have ATC on them which stands for Automatic Temperature Correction

I know exactly where to look but i was after advice on makes and models etc before I made a purchase. My degree and my post grad diploma were not in botany.
