In the durian season in Malaysia, you always knew that someone on the bus had them. They are large green and vaguely prickly, smell of sh1t (literally) and are supposed to be delicious. The inside I believe has a consistency of custard.
Getting past the smell is a bit of a problem though. I never took up the opportunity.
