Hi people, looking forward to learning all I can about beekeeping and what I can do to preserve bees for the future.

Hi people, looking forward to learning all I can about beekeeping and what I can do to preserve bees for the future.

:welcome:
They keep for ages in the freezer :biggrinjester:

The best things you could do to start with is:
1. Buy a book or two - best imho is "Guide to Bees and Honey" by Ted Hooper MBE.
2. Join your local Beekeeping Association as that is where you will all the help and mentoring you could possibly need if you ask nicely. Google for "BBKA" (without inverted commas) and there you will be able to track down the most local club. Beecraft is also a monthly magazine that is worth reading. Subscribe thro' your BKA and/or borrow some back numbers possibly.

I have a number of books that I have been reading over the past few months all of which have been hugely informative. Now I'll endure the wait for spring to come around again before I get stuck into it for real. :)
