Where are my manners, been on here a while now with no introduction....sorry. went on an "Introduction to Beekeeping"course last year, completely hooked from the word go. Completed the theory course now on the practical course run by local BKA. Hived two collected swarms, first was a disaster and must have missed the queen as dwindled away. Second I think is doing ok although still not sure I have a laying queen. This weekend picked up an established nuc from a local beekeeper. Late for this year so concentrating on building rather than honey. Looking forward to next year, just a little sorry to have missed an exceptional year.
